The artwork shows the scheme of a behavior that has been altered by genetic science - the structure of a snail in the reproductive act. It thus symbolizes the possibility of outside influence through genetic manipulation.        To raise awareness to oppose this "steered love", the linear depiction of the reproductive function contrasts with the free worlds of feeling which color and shape make accessible to sensual experience.
